Your privacy matters. This policy explains what Seam Script collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Seam Script web and mobile apps.
Information we collect
We collect the information you provide when you create an account, save measurement profiles, and start pattern projects. This includes your name and email, body measurements you enter, garment photos you upload for AI analysis, and the projects and patterns you generate. We also receive limited technical data such as device type, browser, and app usage events to keep the service running and improve it.
How we use your information
We use your information to run Seam Script: to analyze garments from your photos with AI, generate custom sewing patterns from your measurements, store your projects and measurement profiles, process payments, and provide support. We may also use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve our features and AI accuracy.
Garment photos and image storage
Garment photos you upload are stored privately and are not publicly visible. They are used to run AI garment analysis and are associated with your project. You can delete a project and its images at any time, which removes the associated photos.
Payments
Subscription and one-time purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers; payment details are handled by Stripe under its own security standards. We retain records of your transactions (such as plan, amount, and date) for account history and billing support.
AI processing
Garment analysis, materials suggestions, sewing instructions, and the in-app assistant use AI providers. Your uploaded images, measurements, and prompts are sent to these providers solely to produce your results. We do not use your private project data to train third-party models.
Data sharing
We share data only with the service providers that help run Seam Script (such as our hosting platform, AI providers, and payment processor) under their privacy obligations, and when required by law. We never sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active so you can access your projects, patterns, and measurements. When you delete your account, we remove your associated projects, images, and measurement data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal or billing purposes.
Your rights
You can view, update, or delete your measurement profiles, projects, and account at any time from within the app. If you have a data-protection request under applicable law (such as GDPR or CCPA), contact us and we will respond in line with those laws.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including private storage for garment images and access controls that limit who can read your records. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
Children
Seam Script is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will note the updated date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app or by other means.
