These terms govern your use of Seam Script. Please read them carefully — they explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Seam Script, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the app. If you are using Seam Script on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
What Seam Script provides
Seam Script is an AI-assisted tool for analyzing garments, managing measurements, generating sewing patterns, and helping you bring projects to life. Patterns and instructions are generated by AI and parametric engines and are tools for your own creative and sewing use — they are not professional engineering or tailoring advice, and sizing and fit may need your own adjustment and testing.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens through your account. You must be accurate with your information and provide current body measurements only for yourself or someone who has agreed to be measured. You may not share your account or use it to abuse the service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Seam Script — for example, by uploading content you do not have rights to, attempting to access other users' data, reverse-engineering or scraping the service, bypassing usage limits, or using the app for anything illegal or harmful. Garment photos you upload should be of garments you have the right to analyze.
Your content
You retain ownership of the garment photos, measurements, and projects you create. You grant us the limited right to use your content only to provide Seam Script to you — including running AI analysis and generating your patterns. We do not claim ownership of your designs or patterns.
AI-generated output
Generated patterns, instructions, and suggestions are produced by AI and may contain errors or fit inaccuracies. Always review output before cutting fabric, and use your own judgment. Seam Script is not liable for wasted materials or fit problems arising from generated output.
Subscriptions and purchases
Some features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Subscription plans recur monthly or annually until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the app at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. One-time purchases grant access to the specific item purchased.
Credits
AI-using actions consume credits. Plans include a monthly credit allowance; additional credits can be purchased. Credits are tied to your account, are not transferable, and unused monthly credits may not roll over. Purchased credit packs are non-refundable once consumed.
Refunds
Refunds are handled in line with applicable law and our payment provider's policy. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us through the app and we will review it.
Service availability
We work to keep Seam Script reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or change features, and we are not liable for downtime, data loss, or issues caused by third-party AI or payment providers.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or create risk to the service or other users.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seam Script and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for anything beyond the amount you paid us in the relevant period. Sewing involves sharp tools, machinery, and materials — you are responsible for your own safety while sewing.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. We will note the updated date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
